Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?

Strangely enough, FR970 airborne from GLA en route STN tonight, a mere 6.5 hours late. Is this just a positioning flight? This morning's inbound from CRL had a "minor technical issue" while on the ground here apparently. Empty Malta Air flight came up from STN this afternoon and FR2559 to CRL left ...

Re: PIK

There’s a Global Airlines A380 heading into PIK just now from storage in Mojave via Montreal. I’d never heard of this airline. It turns out to be an English start up intending to fly a fleet of A380’s from LGW to New York and Los Angeles. What could possibly go wrong? The founder was adamant that f...

One other comment I did see from him on LinkedIn was "Team AGS have arrived in #Aarhus for #Routeseurope flying the flag for Scotland’s fastest growing airport. Re: 24 hours to Prague

Flew back to GLA yesterday with Jet2 on LS154. Prague Airport T1 was surprisingly quiet, possibly helped by flights to Bulgaria and Romania moving from T1 to T2 at the start of the summer season as those two countries became partial members of the Schengen Area. PRG T1 is unusual in the fact that se...

24 hours to Prague

Yes that title is correct. On Wednesday and Thursday I travelled to Prague using a number of different vouchers and cheap flights. It started with ScotRail into Glasgow, nothing particularly exciting about it, but the ticket inspector thought I was mad when I told them my route. Next was Flixbus fro...

Re: Emirates

I have been reading some news articles published today about the 20th anniversary. A couple of quotes in this article that might be of interest. “We could not have put an A380 into an airport like Glasgow without their support.” Richard Dewsbury, divisional vice president for the UK "However, a seco...
