Re: Scottish airport to trial 'free parking' as part of luggage changes
Looks good on first glance.... But and it's a big but, You need to have purchased an airport car parking space. So if you live locally it means you're paying for something you don't need for "free" access to drop off your bags. Little bit of a gimmick imo. Agreed . . . . gets the headline and adds ...

Re: Emirates
Shambles but not surprised. Surely this should work both ways Not when the commercial deal / value proposition is not being matched or exceeded - EDI will shortly have a new majority shareholder who paid £1.27 billion for a 50.01% share of the business . . . . they clearly going to go for expansion...

Re: S24
Just to give a comparison to NCL TUI - 1 x 738,4 x 7M8, 1 x 788 Fri-Wed Jet2- 9 x 738(10 peak summer) FR- 1 x 738, 1 x 7M8 Think GLA's EZY base puts it slightly ahead, but not by much. Thats the market GLA is in now, competing with NCL, LPL, EMA, BFS etc rather than EDI, LTN BHX and even BRS Not co...

Re: EZY S24
What do you mean? The journalist has been working for AGS PR team? Don't think so but not sure. Why? The first line of the article says it's joining three aircraft, implying a total of four. How about the two A319s? . . . presumably they are not counted as A320 family but that technicality shouldn'...

Re: Christopher Tibbett Interview at Routes Europe 2024
Growth in % terms has been broadly similar over the last three months but the true measure for two airports in close proximity with a significant catchment overlap is passenger numbers where GLA sadly falls well behind EDI . . . so no, I cannot support the notion that GLA is Scotland's fastest growi...

Re: LM drop GLA-SOU
I think there's a lot to be said about the people running the show rather than the airlines themselves... Hear hear. I’ve been saying this for years. Glad others are finally catching up. Lack of demand too, it seems. We used to have regular flights to the likes of NWI, CWL, MAN, LBA and more. If no...
