Re: PIK

Indeed, here's another perspective: https://dailybusinessgroup.co.uk/2024/03/former-chair-black-emerges-as-prestwick-bidder/amp/ While it has a long runway that is fog-free and can handle large aircraft, doubts have been cast on suggestions that it could be established as a long-haul hub. The sourc...

Re: PIK

https://archive.is/jkvRH Thanks cammtboy. I was right about the author being a half wit. So the former chairman want to buy it in conjunction with a Canadian fund management company which is involved with WestJet. Interesting revelations that the Scot Gov may have conditions that it is used as an a...

Why you subscribe to The Tim...

It’s the new A350 - it has the same reg 10+02 as the retired 707. FR24 for some reason is listing it as the 707.

Re: Interesting Movements 2024

Spoke to aircraft crew whilst en route to TFS a few weeks back and they said that Glasgow would be the second scottish airport to be upgraded to the airbus on Jet2 probably beginning next year. Flight crew or cabin crew? In my experience cabin crew along with ground crew tend not to have a clue abo...

Re: TUI….and Ryanair

Well I went to pay the final balance on our holiday in June today. We had already paid extra for two 20kg bags but as TUI have announced a new 20kg bag allowance on all holidays queried the situation as would it mean the £36 paid was refunded or offset against the outstanding balance due. Neither! ...

Good info. Top priorities among them. With a fair wind we could secure NYC, MAD, CPH and IST from this list as well GVA year round which is huge but not properly served from GLA with the current schedule.
