Re: CAA Stats Oct 23

Over the season the carried an extra 3,013 passengers. What should be noted, and would definitely support your point is seasons of operation. Ryanair operated the route in W22/23 but is not this winter. As a result the last few flights may have been quite compared to last year as their wasn't retur...

Re: CAA Stats Oct 23

Good work George. High load factors across the board which is good news. The KEF example being an outlier because FI put a 763 on on the days Play are operating in a (successful) effort to get rid of them. Thanks Clive, looking at the list it's good to see city breaks picking up in popularity, dest...

Just double checked, the number looks to be spot on at 224,378 seats.

3 class A380 has 517 seats so per day that's 1,034 seats.

217 days in the season. 1034x217= 224,378

Re: CAA Stats Oct 23

I would normally post a link to my website to view the end of season seats filled figures, but I'll just post them below. For clarification, I take the total seats available from the ACL Start of Season report and the month passenger figures from the CAA and get the load factors from that. It isn't ...

Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?

There's 2 reasons using public information that suggests something is still to be loaded. 1) there's a single Wroclaw flight loaded at the end of March, why load just 1 flight and have nothing else? 2) the press release came out across Europe and since then approximately 70 routes have been announc...

I was up there on November 6th and it was not a Pret.

Re: CAA Q3 Report

Interesting post George, thanks for posting. It's madness to think as we approach 2024 GLA has no flights to JFK,MAD and CPH. It really boggles the mind. FR would certainly take care of the MAD/CPH in my opinion. Not sure who'd do JFK now with all the alliance airlines gathering to the east of us. M...

CAA Q3 Report

The CAA Aviation Trends Report is out now and has some interesting figures in it. Section 2 highlights terminal pax compared to Q3 of 2019, GLA is down by 0.6 million, this was the only Scottish Airport mentioned Section 6 highlights Flight Punctuality, flights are considered on time if they depart ...
