They are advertising for cabin crew EDI based ie local head office but location GLASGOW!
The vacancy does say 'Edinburgh base', it could be that they are recruiting in the Glasgow area for EDI based crew.

In what sense? It's really up to EK to judge the route's performance and LF alone is not a good indicator.

There would have to be some serious expansion on the way, given that 2019 saw just under 8.9 million. And that's taking into account that any new services would not benefit from a full year of operation.

My thoughts exactly. Pax numbers were higher 20 years ago in 2004.

With regards to Ryanair, this year marks 10 years since the base was first announced.

An updated S24 ACL reports that Play have been allocated slots for a daily service from EDI. It would appear that they may be intending to move along the M8.
