Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?

There's 2 reasons using public information that suggests something is still to be loaded. 1) there's a single Wroclaw flight loaded at the end of March, why load just 1 flight and have nothing else? 2) the press release came out across Europe and since then approximately 70 routes have been announc...

Re: CAA Q3 Report

Interesting post George, thanks for posting. It's madness to think as we approach 2024 GLA has no flights to JFK,MAD and CPH. It really boggles the mind. FR would certainly take care of the MAD/CPH in my opinion. Not sure who'd do JFK now with all the alliance airlines gathering to the east of us. M...

CAA Q3 Report

The CAA Aviation Trends Report is out now and has some interesting figures in it. Section 2 highlights terminal pax compared to Q3 of 2019, GLA is down by 0.6 million, this was the only Scottish Airport mentioned Section 6 highlights Flight Punctuality, flights are considered on time if they depart ...

Re: RYANAIR

Things seem to be moving again in Ryanair ops, new base announced for Dubrovnik with two Maxes. Also Norwich joining the club with services from ALC & FAO. Big re-jig of aircraft across the network. 47 aircraft are expected to join the fleet by the end of June next year (this number is widely expec...

Re: PIK

PIK didn't get it's schedule fully loaded last year until December 23rd and officially confirmed publicly by press release in February, still plenty of time, especially as MAX delays and deliveries become more certain.

Re: wizz air are back!!

Bucharest approx loads for the first flight from a number of sources.

Inbound from Bucharest ~ 90%
Outbound from Glasgow ~ 80%

For those who pointed out the mistake in the image posted on Tuesday GLA did a joint photo shoot using the Budapest aircraft and crew as tonight's inaugural is in the dark.

Re: wizz air are back!!

As welcome as it is to see a new or in this case - returning airline, perhaps a little bit of caution may be sensible. Wizz have a terrible reputation with pax and have a track record of starting routes then drop them at a whim. AGS have also had a very long standing relationship with WIZZ through ...

Re: wizz air are back!!

From what I have heard the loads on both flights were good considering the short lead time from the announcement.

Inbound from Budapest was approximately 86%
Outbound from Glasgow was approximately 79%
