Re: Edinburgh
As I pointed out in various post over past 9 months. EK have slowly but surely killed off their GLA service, through stupidity of not going back to double daily. I live in Edinburgh and various mates who work in Asian Fianance markets, would in the past regularly drive to GLA to use EK for Business ...

Re: Edinburgh
Flew out of EDI at 11.00 , crazy busy for mid November all bar one security desk in operation and still queue’s. Although, Eurowings flight to Düsseldorf that I was on only 60% full. Think I have the answer to the icelandair speculation. On the ground was a NIceair Northern Iceland A319, their only ...

Re: BA CityFlyer LCY-GLA
I’ve flown many times EDI-LCY they are always brilliant. I have also flown EDI-LHR and LGW numerous times, the former have been disappointing to very poor on at least 50% of flights. Overall your previous impression of BA is spot on, go with another carrier if possible, especially if going long haul...

Re: Emirates Plans To Launch An Air Canada Codeshare Agreement
Nobody addressed this point—-. Although, surely EK flights from MAN and BIR have same issues with passenger reductions/connections as GLA yet these have been fully reinstated? Have Emirates themselves made any comments that they want/ are looking to return to 2 flights a day ex GLA? They’re going to...

Re: Edinburgh
I drove into the servisair car park Sunday morning, there were at least 40 bags outside in car park going no where and not guarded. You’re Border Control mate has obviously not been there to see it first hand. More significantly, Ryanair are showing a lot of cancellations, for tomorrow, is this due t...

Some good observations. Although, surely EK flights from MAN and BIR have same issues with passenger reductions/connections as GLA yet these have been fully reinstated?
Sorry to say, I share the view that AC-EK connection at EDI most likely to be end game.

Re: Emirates Plans To Launch An Air Canada Codeshare Agreement
What has happened to Emirates at Glasgow?!!! why at least no second daily 777 returning and what happened to the A380 which was advised would return mid 2022? As of 3 July Qatar offering nearly as many seats ex EDI! Even Emirates now seem to be taking the piss out of GLA, as few seats on offer are a...

Re: Edinburgh
Delta A330’s have had severe delays upon arrival all week. Some were running 2-3 hours behind schedule inbound and then took 4 hours to turn round! Saturday JFK return was cancelled, was this because of ground handling? Sunday had 2 outbound Delta JFK A330’s and BOS 767 on ground simultaneously. Add...

Re: Seville 18 May
Surely there are a lot more coming in than listed above? Faro to Seville is only 2 hrs in car. Todays departures show 2x Smartwings and Air Horizonte going there. No more tomorrow/ Wednesday? Or no one off direct flights by EZY/Wiss/RYR etc Plus surprised not a lot more Enter Air, given how many fli...

Re: EDI and bucket and spade flights
The point is that TUI are pushing their own aircraft towards EDI now and their customer base. I.e.they will probably soon base 2 there and only 1 at GLA. Yes there are plenty of Tenerife flights from GLA by EasyJet/Jet2. But look at the schedules from EDI by EasyJet/Jet2/Ryanair/TUI. There is now a ...
