As we boarded our Jet2.com flight out of Salzburg yesterday, we were treated to the departure of a Corsair P-4U, in US Navy colour scheme
Sorry, no picture as I was too slow getting my camera out, but it was nice ! Weather was good which made it all the better.
Pilot came off the runway quite quickly, then held it at about 100f - 200ft until he reached the perimeter fence or so, and then climbed up to about what I thought was about 3 or 4 thousand feet, then banked to the left to head up north.
So that was basically the highlight of my SZG-EDI flight on Jet2.

The F-4U belongs to the Flying Bulls (Red Bull) at Hangar 7 based at Salzburg.
