MAN to return to restore pre-Covid ops at MAN (3x daily A380) from 30th October.

Maybe a sign of more changes to come for the rest of the UK?

Maybe a return to normal for this country also… Although a delay maybe to EDI service ?

Is anyone else slightly concerned that there's not been any further hints from Emirates? We are heading into what should be peak season for them and theres been no sign of a capacity upgrade either to A380 or more importantly for me double daily....
Loads appear healthy every month from the figures.

And at the very least, recapture the capex spent on an A380 Airbridge that doesnt have an A380.

Total vanity project. North of £2m wasted on the airbridge and lounge.

Revenue from pick up and drop off fees wisely spent! I wonder what they’re investing those in now? Certainly not route development.

Wonder why the DXB-DUB EK 777 diverted into PIK rather than GLA. It's not as if GLA is rammed?

Certainly didn't hang around at DUB - a lot of holding at that time (very similar to a few weeks ago when drone activity caused diversion to Edinburgh after minimal holding)
Probably planned minimum fuel alternate
