Or FI have realised GLA is a dead duck like the other carriers who have moved ops to EDI.
Hilarious.

So, are we any nearer to having FI restart? Anyone got any updates?

To me there’s a kind of peaceful equilibrium when Icelandair are operating at GLA which doesn’t exist otherwise. Is it just me or does anyone else get that?

Weirdly I get it but with Balkan Holidays, think it's because someone i've been working with in uni is from Burgas :D

Well GLA better have a promotion budget for Icelandair, Westjet & Air Transat . . . . and put the programme in place NOW!

Good to see Icelandair back today. Might be the first time I’ve seen a Max9 as well.

There were a couple in during the last return to operations too, mainly 737-8 Max and the odd 757 as well. I imagine it's going to be similar this time. It probably won't be long until a new livery example shows up either. It looks like the 737-8 Max is going to become a fairly common sight, with regular Icelandair, TUI Buzz/Ryanair and WestJet examples, coming and going. Not to mention the ad-hocs and delivery flights.

Also nice to see Emerald Airways in the new Aer Lingus Regional colours with an ATR-72 from Dublin.
