INV

Post by FlyGLA »

I searched for an Inverness thread but couldn't find one. Imagine my shock considering a thread on a certain other Scottish airport has over 800 posts yet not a single one for INV.

Anyway, British Airways apparently halving their capacity on INV-LHR with the route being cut from 14 to just 7 weekly including the withdrawal of the night stopping service.

This will have quite a significant impact on not just passenger numbers but also global connectivity to the Highlands.

It will, however it's a seasonal change so the impact on tourism will be small given that the vast majority of visitors of tourists abroad will be visiting in summer. ABZ is also seeing a cut.

Good news. Just as handy as LHR as a global hub service.
