Re: Interesting Movements 2024

They shouldn’t be rolling anything out for Virgin after their shift in loyalty. With decisions like that, it’s no surprise this airline has had only a few profitable quarters in its history. If that's the case (and I don't dispute it), why don't they just get back to GLA? One of life's big mysterie...

Re: Could United be returning??

It’s not all rosy down the other side of the motorway though. JetBlue loads sub 30% since launching, according to our own GeorgeNTravels over on X. In the interests of balance, it's worth noting that JFK>EDI seat maps look pretty full for the latter half of next week (and looks to be sold out compl...

Re: wizz air are back!!

Hopefully VS following after their deal .. Exactly my thoughts. It’s a stick on hopefully, or they might want to start back at GLA sooner and fly both Scottish routes in tandem until the current deal runs its course. No idea if they’d have a minimum service agreement that ties them to certain minim...

Re: CAA July 23 stats

Perhaps more relevant is next year sees the start of A330Neo(A339) deliveries and also the A359 should join the fleet. Those would allow a 2nd service to operate with something smaller than the B77W, although exact configuration for the new Airbuses has not yet been released. Worth noting that July...

Re: World Routes 2023

This B6 and edi rumour is more of a wishlist rumour on another forum .. nothing in it at all Correct - there are 17 other destinations under consideration. The penchant for users on that other forum for stating their personal hopes as fact is beyond belief. One of the 4 quoted is very high on the l...

Re: BAC 1-11

What are your1-11 memories? My first of many flights in G-AWYS. The regular late BR911 LGW-GLA. Was just approaching MAN northbound when we started a leisurely right turn that took ages. Back we were going to LGW due to an open door indication (this was in the 70's so door sensors were not what the...
