That’s a shocking amount of departures you’ve illustrated. In years gone by I remember all the charter flights that used to leave on Friday nights.
Friday nights in the 90s were indeed buzzing ,the place was mobbed , seven mad-dogs on stand at the same time !

Re: Old Inchinnan/All Hallow's Graveyard open day 2nd September

Takes me back , I went to the cubs/scouts in the old Inchinnan Church Hall in 66/67 and the BEA or Olympic Comet 4Bs landing low overhead with the full flaps down was a sight and sound to behold !

I remember the Sobelair DC6B OO-CTL was a regular Saturday night visitor in the mid/late 60s , on occasion a Sabena a/c was subbed in.

Whilst I'm happy to be proved wrong, I also don't get the impression that people posting in this thread are the same people that are posting fantasies in the pprune EDI thread. Planeenthusiast on here is planeraz on pprune ,he posts EDI stuff on there and on here at the same time , he also ridicule...

Re: USA Pre Clearance

US Transatlantic at GLA will be no more if this goes ahead. It's still years away , if it happens at all. Other airports , both in Scotland and the Northern half of England, will have something to say about it , and delaying tactics will be inevitable. Dewar says he expects the "plans in place in 2...
