Re: Loganair
I don't think it's personal at all, but I do find it odd that someone says that the airline has the wrong aircraft types but then won't expand on that view. If it is as obvious as said, then there's surely no problem with outlining how you think it should be?

Re: Loganair
If it's that "plane", why the reticence in saying what you think should be happening then?

Re: Loganair
I'm surprised Ekally can say they're not being negative and then come out with a sweeping statement like that. Exactly what aircraft type(s) should Loganair have, then? I'd be fascinated to know how and why the airline has got it so wrong and what it should be doing instead. Clive, the answer to you...

Re: Loganair
Indeed, you don't know me either, and we are both entitled to an opinion. Mine just happens to be that all I ever see is an unrelenting stream of negativity in your postings! So we have DUS and EMA dropped at the start of the pandemic and not to return. SEN as an experiment simply didn't work out fr...

Re: Loganair
Ekally's perpetual negativity back in force! The overall LM S22 schedule is an increase at GLA - the 340 which flew to CFN is now doing extra SYY services in their place and LSI is going from 7 to 10 per week. Aer Lingus Regional couldn't make CFN work on an ATR42 (even as Aer Lingus Regional) and g...

Re: AGS in trouble ?
It's really sloppy and sensationalist journalism. As has already been said, virtually every company in the travel industry - whether an airline, tour operator, airport or anyone else besides - has a material uncertainty statement included in its accounts and I can't think of one which has avoided it...

Re: Loganair drops Isle of Man to Heathrow.
IOM-LHR was always dependent on IOM Government support based on the costs of operating at LHR. It was started on that basis and is stopping because that support is being discontinued for reasons best known to the IOM Government. The economics of the jet haven't changed. The jet works just fine on th...

Re: Interesting Movements 2021
Is it just the angle of the photo, or were the crew thinking you only pay half the landing fee if you only use half the runway?

Re: BA Cityflyer to launch Belfast City
The operating economics of CRJ900s on very short sectors such as BHD-UK would be absolutely awful. The low hour:cycle ratio carries a very heavy penalty on the frequency and cost of engine overhauls.

Re: Loganair
Yes but I'm not allowed to post details!
Seriously though, sounds to have been well handled by the crew. Good on them.
