Re: Airport SNOCLO 02/12/23
Looks like the TUI to Kittila was cancelled. Presumably by the time they could get away, it would be too late for any of the Lapland activities. Lots of devastated kids there I’d imagine!

Re: Summer 2022 Delays/Disruption
Seems TUI are having issues with the Sunwing aircraft at ABZ again. Was due to do ABZ-DLM-GLA-DLM-ABZ today, and looking at FR24 it doesn’t seem to have left Aberdeen this morning. Looks like another Sunwing aircraft came up from CWL to operate the GLA-DLM flight. C-FWGH did indeed position up from...

Re: Summer 2022 Delays/Disruption
I saw an article which included comments from a passenger booked on Saturday’s GLA-AYT. They had travelled to GLA from Liverpool to catch the flight. After delays, the passengers were all called to the gate to be told their entire package holidays were cancelled. Apparently TUI offered a night in a ...

Re: Summer 2022 Delays/Disruption
Your right it is Antalya. Have a friend due to go next week to DLM with TUI next week, and was just off the phone to them telling them flight was cancelled today then posted above The number of TUI delays and cancellations at the moment is crazy. GLA had a few 24-hour delays at the beginning of the...

Re: Summer 2022 Delays/Disruption
On top of easyJet's IT issues today, I see the inbound TOM807 from Dalaman which utilises the Aberdeen based Sunwing B737 is running nearly 6 hours late . . . the outbound TOM806 is showing as 'Cancelled' (this is a W rotation ABZ-DLM-GLA//GLA-DLM-ABZ) and the aircraft looks to be positioning to Ab...

Re: Summer 2022 Delays/Disruption
This is only a small sample of TUI’s delays, several more similar situations have occurred from various bases. Even flights leaving GLA on the correct day have often been significantly delayed. They really don’t seem to be coping well at all and it’s only very early in the season. They are still rat...

Re: May Route Resumptions
25 new/returning routes for May and 13 of them from TOM. How many extra aircraft will they be basing over the summer to cover these? TUI should have 3 aircraft, 2 738s and a 788, which will operate services like PMI, AYT, TFS etc on days they don't operate Florida and Cancun Think Tui is 2 x 7M8 an...

Re: EDI and bucket and spade flights
I believe EDI's TUI base closes at the end of April as S22 will not see any based flights. Regarding the TFS flights, it's not uncommon for TUI to reduce the GLA flights (ACE and TFS both down from 2 to 1 weekly and ALC stopped) during the quietest period of the year but the EDI-TFS flights do usual...

Re: Interesting Movements 2021
Today’s TUI flights (ACE) running over 3 hours late but it does look like the MAX is due to operate at least the next few flights from GLA.
