Re: Delta Air Lines
Trully impressive if EDI is managing to support double daily 763s for 3 days a week to ATL. Would it no be worth their while sticking a 772/359 on the route, or is it a case of frequency and better connections through ATL over size? It really is a head scratcher that AGS couldnt get an NYC and MCO ...

Re: PK to return to GLA?
Bit of a basket case airline if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure their on time performance was pretty appalling too. I'll expect an air Koryo connection direct to Pyongyang next !

Re: BFS actively engaging with airlines around reopening a transatlantic route
While I admire BFS's ambitions, I really can't see any TATL conmection going ahead without continued substantial government support. UA only continued the service aslong as they did due to the previous support package. with DUB only a couple of hours down the road, it really would take some doing. ...

Re: 'Significant challenges' for Glasgow as footfall drops by 400,000
I see that Glasgow is now basically confirmed as the 2026 games host. This is surely an ideal opportunity to freshen the place up a bit. I agree that the city centre is looking a bit worse for wear these days. I was In the dental hospital last week and I was shocked at the state of sauchiehall stree...

Re: American Airlines
A very In depth and informative post Iain. It's hard to argue with any of your points. In relation to EK, QR have a short term equipment change in the near future. I believe they will be changing from A359s to 788s over the winter period. I may be a little off with my time frames, please correct me ...

Re: American Airlines
Massive congratulations to team EDI. Once again they play a blinder and secure another key TATL route. I honestly didn't see AA dwelling outside of London for the foreseeable. How wrong was I! EDI is becoming a spotters paradise. As for team GLA, I think focusing on getting QR or TK in for an evenin...

Re: Could United be returning??
You never know, There's every chance that they may announce MAN and GLA at the same time. The a321XLRs are the perfect fit for these sort of routes.
