Re: Could United be returning??
You never know, There's every chance that they may announce MAN and GLA at the same time. The a321XLRs are the perfect fit for these sort of routes.

Re: Big interview with Andy Cliffe
There was undoubtedly a big opportunity missed with the journalists questions. Ryanair really should have been one of the big questions. It does worry me that a large part of his plans for the extra 1 million passengers seems to be focused on our current based offerings. It is however, very refreshi...

Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?
Right, I'm bumping this thread as over a week has gone by with nowt and we're into February tomorrow. Patience is wearing a bit thin now. Bill, for gods sake you are killing me here! Every time I come onto the forum, I hope and pray that their is confirmation of a Ryanair base. It's like an u...

Re: CAA Stats Aug23
Dubai daily average 1007, with capacity of 1034, so again a 97% load factor. That IS impressive. Roll on the additional triple 7 flight soon. :D You would certainly assume that a second daily 773 is a forgone conclusion now. 97% LF is mighty impressive on the big bird. This aside, much improvement ...

Re: wizz air are back!!
I appreciate the feedback guys. Always interesting to hear any small insight on how it all works. Here's hoping both routes deliver strong load factors and tempt Wizz into opening some previously served/new routes.

Fantastic to see Wizz back on the scene. New buisness has been hard to come by recently.
I can't see much truth behind the fees argument. If true, why would FR still have a substantial base?

Even if Ryanair were looking to base an additional 50 units in the UK. If GLA failed to secure 2 or 3 of those, I'd be very concerned.

Re: Edinburgh
Being well aware of all that I still said I don’t see why not. Is there a reason UAs flights are all operated on 752s yet DL can support widebody 767s on all of their flights? I'm aware that distance becomes an issue for ATL but I am genuinely unsure of any further reasons. It could be that UAs fli...

Re: Edinburgh
They used to serve both airports and as demand is high I don’t see why not. The problem is that both United and Delta have built sizeable operations at EDI at least in the summer months (UAL B757 2 x EWR, 1 x IAD & 1 x ORD and DAL B767 1 x JFK, 1 x BOS & 1 x ATL) supported no doubt by 'exclusive' d...
