Re: GLA Sold

Good news that a sale has finally went through. It had to happen. Personally I would liked to have seen us move away from ABZ and SOU, but lets see what happens now.

Re: Ryanair Summer 2025 as of 12th Sept 2024

Good news. Surprising aspect for me is that a new route is also bucket and spade. Would have more expected another Euro city or somewhere else in the British Isles like BOH or BFS if a new FR route was to launch. Even last time around when the base was announced the Med routes pretty much still stay...

Re: PIK

Btw just looking at today's departures from PIK. Am I missing something, but it doesn't look like there are any flights at all departing today, or at all on Tuesdays throughout the winter bar some peak christmas/new year increases. The offering from FR in the West is just so depressing. This should ...

Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?

Total rewrite of previous post. I am thinking CWL getting a base with EZY or FR with all the recent state cash. If not then maybe something like EZY at LBA. The bigger slap in the face would be FR opening a base at SEN or somewhere like that. I would be pleasantly stunned if this involves GLA.

Re: Loganair

It seems Loganair's expansion plans are centered around Glasgow East. If it wasn't for the HQ being historically located here too the top brass would have no hesitation moving it east IMO. I also get the vibe a lot of the power within there is with people who come up from down south and see Loganai...

Re: Delta Air Lines

United just released their 2025 summer schedule this morning. I thought we might have a slender chance of getting one of the big carriers back when the profit margins got thinner following post covid recovery maxing out and the airlines had to dig for other ways to expand, but even that doesn't loo...

Birthday card pish as they say.
