Re: FlyBe 3.0?

Flybe has more lives than Delta at EDI  https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GRK1mX5XwAAuFT6?format=jpg&name=large The same Delta that has flights to 3 different destinations at EDI? One airline alone has 3 more scheduled transatlantic flights than GLA. Nae need to troll in here The same Delta that has...

Re: Icelandair Summer 2024 as of 28th June 2024

Thank you. I did think at the time that Icelandair will use the 767 at GLA until Play vacate the route and then they'd scale back on capacity. If only airlines were as proactive about growing at GLA as they are at attacking competition on routes. Sidetrack but I remember TUI announced GLA-RAK so the...

Re: New majority stakeholders at EGPH

I believe the coach used to GLA East has 71 seats and operates up to every 30 minutes. That's 284 seats an hour going to and from EDI that could be flying from GLA. Then on top of that you have the aforementioned rise in car park bookings from Glasgow. I hope Team GLA are taking these figures to the...

Re: New majority stakeholders at EGPH

There is no doubt that EDI is being bank rolled by passengers who would much prefer to fly to and from GLA but have no choice but to use EDI. Many routes currently operating out of EDI would not be sustainable without the contributions of Glasgow based passengers. Myself included. Hence EDI = Glasgo...

Re: Vinci Airports

US Preclearance at EDI. Reality check. For 6 months of the year there is a single daily 757 crossing the pond. Reality check: that statement's wrong. DL also operate their JFK service through the winter, taking a break between 4th January and the 9th March. I thought Delta had went seasonal a...
