My understanding is we’ll have four 737 and one 787 based full time at GLA and then a second 787 here during part of the week in the peak season. Perhaps that could be the sixth aircraft for all its not here 7 days a week?

Two diverts due to shut runway at EDI caused by plane bursting tire. One easyJet from AMS and an FR from Bratislava. Both refuelling to head back to EDI.

I could be looking at this wrong, but the ACL start of season report shows an increase of 400 movements for Glasgow so perhaps something is hopefully in the pipeline

I wonder if this could eventually lead to Qatar launching flights to Glasgow if there’s a high number of connecting passengers, but think that might be a bit far fetched
