Re: Lufthansa
It wasn't good or in the spirit of the forum that the comment made in a member's post was claimed to be hardly worth noting nor was the implication, without any evidence whatsoever, that the post might be intentionally misleading. Perhaps some members would do well to moderate their language. Hi Fr...

I'm sure many of you will know but the 2 major alliances have websites that help plan your round the world trips.
Star Alliance - https://roundtheworld.staralliance.com/ ... bmit=false

Re: AviAlliance sells 22% to Blackstone
Let's start a simple listing starting from 01 April 2025 (to exclude EDI-YUL) to track net route changes (ie + & - frequencies) and new routes secured under the three airports (GLA, EDI & PIK) . . . a simple speadsheet will do No. Let’s stick to GLA. Tumbleweed on that spreadsheet then, of course u...

Re: Edinburgh Airport chief flags North America and China flights hope
https://www.linkedin.com/posts/japearson_us-canada-montreal-activity-7310729296774324226-Qovl? Edinburgh Airport will have more than one million round-trip seats to/from the #US & #Canada in 2025, the first time it will pass that milestone. In fact, capacity will be more than what’s stated in the f...

Re: BRS
I think BRS is the 4th largest UK regional, so it's no surprise that they're overlooking the smaller GLA. If they're going by size, GLA could be next, but just wait for BFS, NCL, LBA to all get in ahead. Even with TK openly saying they want to start GLA-IST, they've still failed to get that busines...

Re: PK to return to GLA?
I wonder if AGS are talking to SV (or talking to anyone tbh).
SV seem to have hoovered up all the traditional traffic that would be PK’s at MAN and BHX and IIRC I think I saw a post recently about LBA hoping to start an SV service.

Re: WestJet
Iirc TS operated GLA-YUL 1x weekly for one summer back around 2015 and then dropped it, so that doesn't suggest great demand to Quebec. It's seems a very late announcement for a summer transatlatic route, so I wonder if it might be something AC have pulled out at very short notice to try to counter...
