Re: AviAlliance sells 22% to Blackstone
Let's start a simple listing starting from 01 April 2025 (to exclude EDI-YUL) to track net route changes (ie + & - frequencies) and new routes secured under the three airports (GLA, EDI & PIK) . . . a simple speadsheet will do

Re: AviAlliance sells 22% to Blackstone
AGS has access to one of the most diversified airline mixes of any major UK airport, and the company’s recent capital improvements aimed at accommodating large aircraft pave the way for new routes and higher traffic growth. Re: WestJet
Iirc TS operated GLA-YUL 1x weekly for one summer back around 2015 and then dropped it, so that doesn't suggest great demand to Quebec. It's seems a very late announcement for a summer transatlatic route, so I wonder if it might be something AC have pulled out at very short notice to try to counter...

Re: WestJet
Let's see how this plays out this summer . . . . and more importantly into 2026

Re: Global Airlines JFK
I don't think the COOs of American, Delta or United will be losing a minute's sleep over Global The story is already the lead on The Herald's website . . . just waiting on the comments! I trust GLA's management will not naively fall into a trap - those with longer memories will recall Highland Expre...

Re: Our airports are “sh!t holes” on X
Don't subscribe to X so can't comment on posts But both GLA & EDI are run by private equity / pension funds to increase shareholder value and/or to manage tax efficient interest funding while PIK's limited passenger traffic survives in a 1960's building The recent changes in investors at both GLA & ...
