Re: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Summer 2025 as of 9th Nov 2024

Thanks for doing that. I think we've lost an evening E175 service Vs this summer? I think it was about 8ish. That's a pity

Re: August 2024 CAA Stats

DXB -1% (Average load 503 LF 97%) YYZ -15% 97% load factor on a daily A380 and still only one flight. Seriously EK and AGS... WTF are they playing at? And August is low season for this route. They are literally turning passengers away. It's almost as if they are retrofitting their fleet which is le...

Re: Delta Air Lines

This is interesting. It might be a reflection of the UK's declining global standing following the massive act of self-sabotage. More likely the vast majority of these flights have a leisure focus for Americans on their holidays..... Not many business centres amongst them. I know where id rather hol...

Re: Immigration Hall

Speaking of Customs, hardly see any staff there to stop anyone. Do they view the passengers via CCTV? The customs area looks horrendous and is not a welcoming environment for visitors at all. It needs revamped and ripped out. Stuck in the 90's. As is quite a lot of the terminal furnishings. Especia...

Re: GLA-EFL

The runway I think has been extended since then but the airport itself is fairly constrained in any way for expansion. Lots of buildings round it and essentially a cliff at either end!

GLA-EFL

The good lady and I decided to spend a week in Kefalonia as an autumn sunshine break. Only option from GLA was LS and although flights weren't cheap we went for them anyway. Flew out on the 2nd, JZBB a Boeing Sky interior equipped 7 year old 738 took us the 3 and a half hours south. Usual cheery Jet...

Re: Jet2 Summer 2026 as of 24th Sept 2024

Cracking work as always. Are there any gaps in the schedule or is the DBV route all we are getting?

Re: American Airlines

What can Glasgow realistically do to attract an American carrier? I assume they have had conversations with the legacy carriers re serving GLA. It must be near impossible to convince a prospective airline that a service from the airport would be better financially than EDI. The real priority right ...

Re: American Airlines

Another option bites the dust and the airlines continue to show absolutely 0 outside of the box thinking. So depressing. Or Airlines go to where they think they get the most money back. Next week, Eastern announce 2 x weekly GLA-HUY ATR service So your telling me an almost totally underserved marke...
