I came across this You Tube clip, showing a segment from the ITV 'Wish You Were Here' holiday/travel programme, featuring Judith Chalmers and Chris Kelly, aboard BA's newly delivered 757, G-BIKB, on the occasion of it's first appearance at GLA on a publicity flight in early 1983. I still remember that crisp February morning and all the ensuing media interest the new aircraft attracted

If it happens and BA don't pull out of Gatwick, yes. Might do the LHR show at Kempton Park in November, went last year, pretty good.

That sounds good. Have got BA vouchers to use. How do you get there from LHR?

I was on a job for a few days in the Sunbury-on-Thames area and was in a nearby hotel, so just walked along to Kempton Park in 10 minutes or so. having driven the whole way from home. It meant I could get a few more bits and pieces not limited to my carry on baggage allowance. But it's really near Heathrow, probably worth jumping in a taxi to be honest. There is a nearby railway station but from memory it's a one of those, travel into Piccadilly, travel back out jobs. As for the LGW show, the big red Routemaster bus was cancelled this year owing to a retirement by the driver. They were supposed to be putting on a regular coach transfer to Crawley though.
