Went over for a few pints of Guiness.
I have used both GLA and also EDI over the past 9 months, and in comparison to those two graveyards,
DUB is absolutely jumping !
Ryanair flights going to all corners of Europe, all flights from what I could see, absolutely chocker.
My flight DUB-GLA on the standard B.737-800 workhorse, was full - not one spare seat !
Seeing as everybody needs either a double Jab or a nonsensical PCR test ( at an eye-watering E100 per pop ) to get into, or back into Ireland, I have got to ask - where is everybody over there is getting the money from !
A pint of Guiness at DUB costs E6 !
Yes, it is a good pint, so it's not wasted money, but ...

I read this article just the other day, it shows that DUB is suffering too, but I really did not get that feeling at all.

I don't know how that compares to GLA Nos.

You're lucky you only paid €6 for a Guiness.... some pubs, especially in Temple Bar, charge €7. Outside the 'big smoke' a pints around €4.90 or a fiver..... my mum was over recently and was surprised that we always had to show our QR vaccine codes to get into any pub or restaurant.... has been the case here since things started to re-open. (Made sure she had her NHS letter)

Re travel.... European flights seem to be going gung-ho but transatlantic, passenger wise, has been massively hit because of no non us residents being allowed to fly west. Must be making money on the freight side of things though as still plenty of flights coming over.
