BA CityFlyer LCY-GLA

Anyone that has read my “Experience with BA” post on my website knows that until this evening I was no fan of the airline.
However, I needed to fly back from London tonight and flew with BACF on flight BA8730. My other option was easy from STN but this ended up being cancelled.
I arrived at LCY 90 mins before departure and was through security in 2 minutes. All the security staff were really friendly and approachable.
We boarded 30 mins before departure and the gate staff took the effort to thank everybody (thank you Mr Nugent etc)
The cabin crew were standing greeting everybody and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The flight was full and we were ready to go on time.
The flight only took 59 minutes (it was going to be 49, but a last minute runway change from 05 to 23 extended it slightly)
The usual free crisps and drinks were offered, just crisps for me to snack on whilst waiting for the train home.
When we landed in GLA the crew said goodbye to everybody at the door and made me think twice about my BA opinion.
As quick as I am to write about bad experiences I feel it only appropriate to write about this really good experience and admit I might have judged BA too harshly based on their office teams rather than frontline staff.
Not much more to say really.
