Online Safety Act

The first tranche of obligations of above comes into force in the middle of March. It seems to require forums (such as this) to prepare a risk assessment and some are choosing to close as a result.

Clearly, the government isn’t satisfied with controlling every other aspect of our lives, they now feel the need to extend their grip even further with the UK Online Safety Act. Yet another overreach, dressed up as protection, when in reality, it’s just more regulation and red tape. What a gross waste of taxpayers’ money.
