Welcome everyone.Big thanks to Clive for getting this up and running.We are assuming the old board is now defunct due to issues outwith our control but at least we have a say in this one.Enjoy and the usual rules apply!

Message to all

Great to see all those who are joining from the old forum, and the enthusiasm that everyone has shown.

We presently have 65 members from a standing start 24 hours ago, so that’s great.

I have left the registration process open so anyone can join without the usual vetting.

So if you know anyone who is interested in our subjects (GLA, aircraft, air travel, airline business, airports, aviation photography, etc) please invite them to join.

Similarly if anyone could highlight us in other aviation forums, spotters Facebook groups, etc that would be fantastic.

The more members we have the more vibrant and interesting the forum will be for all. Let’s make it better than before.

We also need to reach some of the regulars who haven’t received my email and won’t know anything about this new address.

The name ‘EGPF Forum’ remains the same but the new address is http://www.gla.scot/forum/ So please spread the word.

Yeah,it's strange how in life you take things for granted and you don't think twice about some things,until they're taken away from you.I'm even beginning to miss going to work.

Very decent of you Tam. Thank you for the offer. See we all miss it when it’s gone. Hopefully we can all make this better than before. The more who actually contribute, the better.

The old forum was actually hosted a third party. An absentee landlord if you will.

Now it’s not, so there should be no problems in future with domain renewals, web hosting, etc.
