Glasgow's south side could see a new direct bus link to the city's airport under new transport plans approved by councillors.
Very little detail on any plans, but positive nonetheless.

Compared to some other regional UK airports, bus services at GLA are severely lacking - and those in charge at the airport don't seem to recognise this as a problem, nevermind taking steps to improve the situation.

It's interesting however how other airports can apparently attract new bus services easily, whilst at GLA apparently we need to go through lots of bureaucracy and new "transport srategies".

Still can’t believe there’s no bus to Edinburgh. I really wish I knew what the bosses thinking is on that….

Absolutely - especially when there have been a number of different people in charge at GLA over the time the Glasgow-EDI bus has been operating. You would've thought one of them might have identified it as an issue.

About time.

I know the boss of McGill's, Alex Hornby, was in the airport recently discussing public transport options with airport bosses.
