To clarify GLA-LIS was EJU who i believe had slot restrictions at LIS so as we were one of the last to be added, we suffered, am I happy about it? B***h No but that's life

They have an EZY service (you see the difference?, if you can't make an appointment at specsavers)
You have a point, but, as is often the case, your delivery is so very wrong.

I agree with the previous post, it's up to the mods whether these threads should be open to discussion. As it is a discussion forum and the thread is open, discussion will take place. There is already an easyJet thread but quite often the discussion drifts across multiple threads.

On this subject, a suggestion to the mods would be that we have dedicated airline threads akin to larger airline forums where all discussion takes place. The problem is that every time there is a new route or development there seems to be a new thread created.
The Schedules section is supposed to be a handy reference source which compliments the discussion threads. The moderators are not minded to stamp down on healthy on-topic discussion wherever it occurs but what we won’t have is serial offenders shoehorning in their favourite off topic airport, taking the piss around that, or debate about what the moderating process. We’d like to think we are all mature enough to chat respectfully with the like-minded membership who are all here to share news and views on all aspects of Glasgow Airport.

As I have repeatedly advised, Edinburgh/EDI/Turnhoose/West Lothian facility (or whatever pathetic Moniker you choose to bestow on it, as heaven forbid we actually give it its proper name  )is NOT my favourite airport and wish I didn’t have to reference it so often, but here we are. GLA are not delivering and we’re only left to discuss what the competition is doing.

That is for another forum. Not this one.

Almost every development at EDI will impact GLA to some degree, some more than others. The reality is that GLA's catchment is being served by another airport. You can choose to ignore it by not talking about it but it's still happening.

We’d like to think we are all mature enough to recognise this instead of the childlish name-calling exhibited by certain members on here every time EDI gets a mention or AGS is criticised. Frankly, the same goes for the use of West Lothian facility/Turnhoose, etc.

I use alternative monikers and mention it as little as possible so that EDI is not the most common word in this GLA forum. No one’s forcing you to stay. You can always leave if it’s not your cup of tea.
