This is true but must be said that they have an ever expanding fleet a huge new transfer hub, big ambitions and deep pockets. It would seem like a departure for them - they don't do routings like this on other transatlantics from IST, do they? If GLA management can get an airline to consider changing their ops significantly to accomodate the US route aspirations of an airport that's not even in their network, then you have wonder why they can't persuade the multiple airlines that do operate UK-USA to come to GLA.
