I could be looking at this wrong, but the ACL start of season report shows an increase of 400 movements for Glasgow so perhaps something is hopefully in the pipeline

Oops can’t count, my bad.

Regardless, GLA’s social media team really should have been all over this, even with the recent 20th anniversary. But were they? Of course they weren’t!

Flooding at DXB must be really bad. GLA flight 5 hrs late. Noted other EK flights also 4+ hrs late too.

About 5 years of A380 ops? Silence. Read my post again.

There was a tweet for the 20th anniversary but not much else. The likes of this tweet gives you a good indication of the type of social media team they want to be:

https://twitter.com/GLA_Airport/status/ ... 7510332448
Or the likes of this.

https://x.com/gla_airport/status/177592 ... lOa6GAi2Ew

They mention a year of Greggs but not 5 years of A380. What a shower 🤷‍♂️

Planeenthusiast wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2024 8:30 pm In relation to the benefits or otherwise of direct competition, isn’t the risk for GLA that EK return to the airport where QR operates double daily, presumably on a A359 and competes directly with QR? This could mean EK sticking with a daily 388 from GLA.
Bollocks .. gla was double daily with a service at edi even with a A380 ... think that's you hoping that would be the case
Fair play to you for calling it correctly 'Planeenthusiast'.
