Is my eyesight failing me?

Just came back from BER today, as I was standing outside waiting for a bus at 4pm, I saw what I thought was a flyover, heading south. A big quad jet, very low I thought because I could see 4 distinct contrails. Wait a minute, am I looking at 4 jets flying along side each other.? Would that be military.?

Anything over 5,000ft is astronomy for me now. I think I will need to keep my future plane-spotting ventures to what's at ground level.
