Loganair
Re: Loganair
*****Rumors***** on Pprune suggest EZY may be about to announce a new EDI-LDY route. If so, do we expect Loganair will very quickly chuck GLA-LDY? As they seemingly always run at the first sight of competition.

Re: Loganair
I do think Loganair will stick it oit the way they did against Ryanair. If it had been a direct competitor at GLA I imagine it would have been dropped.
I have to say EZY really do seem to be coming for Loganair of late.

Re: Loganair
Tbf, Loganair have made themselves an easy target by not once putting up any sort of fight.

Re: Loganair
Loganair has been named "Sustainable Airline of the Year 2024"; yet another meaningless award. It’s hardly surprising they won, considering they've slashed so many routes and reduced frequencies lately.
Re: Loganair
Interesting update on LM from the new CEO:

Recently published figures for Scottish tourism in general show a strong year for inbound visitors.
"We have increased frequency on Edinburgh-Southampton," he added. "The cruise ship market out of Southampton is especially buoyant.
"We're also looking at other regions of the UK which don't necessarily have that connectivity to the south coast or London.
"We believe Cardiff offers great opportunities. We fly Edinburgh to Cardiff, which is very popular and there is potential expansion there.
He said the north-east and south-west of the country were areas that could be more connected by air.
