Only "aspirations" to get a US service in 2025 shows the CEOs words to be hot air imo. He gave the impression it was more advanced and a top priority. Meanwhile LBA CEO says they'll have US schedules in 3 years.
The pound is going up v dollar and some are forecasting it to keep going up - this should favour GLA with more outbound and undermine EDI with its greater inbound, as holidays in Scotland for US visitors will get more expensive.
Can we quote you on that? Jesus, we may as well hand back the keys and tell everyone it's closed.... yeah things aren't great at the moment with regards destinations but who knows what's going to happen..... glass half full here (something strong, please)
