Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?
Strangely enough, FR970 airborne from GLA en route STN tonight, a mere 6.5 hours late. Is this just a positioning flight?

This morning's inbound from CRL had a "minor technical issue" while on the ground here apparently.
Empty Malta Air flight came up from STN this afternoon and FR2559 to CRL left 9hr 45min late.

Cheers for the info George!

Yes, surprised FR hasn't relaunched STN from GLA. Would do well if the flight times are the same most days.

It might be worse news for airports that do have STN and other UK domestics.atuk wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 7:35 pmThat’s bad news if we want the return of GLA-STN.G-WATP wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 6:44 pmhttps://corporate.ryanair.com/news/ryan ... -increase/Ryanair will now review its UK schedules and expects to cut capacity to/from UK airports by up to 10% in 2025
Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?
Press release says cut capacity to/from UK by 10%, which probably doesn’t just mean domestic flights.
Or it will be spin, and capacity will be cut on routes with multiple trips per day, and they can cut capacity and blame government

Re: Ryanair: Could my prayers be answered?
It says "up to 10%", an important distinction.
