I tweeted GLA way back when Scotland first qualified to suggest they talk to the likes of LH EW FR and U2 to discuss extra capacity over Euro24. What we got doesn’t exactly set the heather alight, but much needed and will take it.

Does anyone know if FR are planning to reinstate the GLA-STN route? As the sole carrier, EZY need a boot up the arse for a half-baked attempt at scheduling, frequency and also fares. Ta in advance. :)

Strangely enough, FR970 airborne from GLA en route STN tonight, a mere 6.5 hours late. Is this just a positioning flight?

This morning's inbound from CRL had a "minor technical issue" while on the ground here apparently.

Empty Malta Air flight came up from STN this afternoon and FR2559 to CRL left 9hr 45min late.

Yes, surprised FR hasn't relaunched STN from GLA. Would do well if the flight times are the same most days.

Boeing will be glad to know it's not their fault now and Rachel Reeves will have to take the blame instead!

BRUSSELS, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Ryanair (RYA.I), will have to revise down its passenger traffic estimates for next year because of expected aircraft delivery delays from Boeing (BA.N), the budget airline's group CEO Michael O'Leary told Reuters on Wednesday.

That’s bad news if we want the return of GLA-STN.

It might be worse news for airports that do have STN and other UK domestics.
