Virgin Atlantic A350 G-VELJ due 1250 leaving 1350, crew training maybe.

Arrives from LHR at 1150, then appears to be doing 2 local trips at 1250 and 1505 before returning to LHR at 1720.

If its just crew train ing why not PIK. I'd like to be reading more into this trip, but probably not? Dont suppose its a "proving flight" - do they still exist?

It’s the same training pattern they did when they first got the A350.

They shouldn’t be rolling anything out for Virgin after their shift in loyalty. The move to east really paid off for them, given the 75% drop in passenger numbers. With decisions like that, it’s no surprise this airline has had only a few profitable quarters in its history.

We had VS widebodys for years as a regular movement, now we're getting excited cause a VS aircraft is dropping in on a training flight. Another symptom of how badly the airport is failing.

Virgin A35K G-VJAM scheduled for re-run of yesterday's training mission, due from LHR at 1255.
