Why would it divert all the way to GLA from Brize Norton, surely it could've gone somewhere closer?

At the time it came up, Birmingham and Manchester appeared to be landing normally according to FR24

G-VNVR came up on Thursday on a straight round-trip, 'LJ up today for a couple of local sorties then back to LHR.
