Seems Aer Lingus Regional have taken the Glasgow-belfast city Route from Loganair, unsure if it was a mutual agreement or Loganair deciding to not compete. It’s a shame their Glasgow base seems to be shrinking quite a bit.

I would suggest that the EMBs are only suitable for 'longer haul' domestic routes eg Southampton & Exeter from GLA & EDI - there is of course competition to Belfast in the shape of easyJet

It is noticeable how Aberdeen & Inverness are served by Loganair

It isn't by mutual agreement. LM re-start had been delayed to 1 September as rules for non-essential travel to/from Northern Ireland are still limiting and with a lot of easyJet capacity on GLA-BFS, there wasn't room for two again just yet. From what we've been told, BHD and Stobart Air got into discussion and they've decided to go on the route earlier. They clearly see something our lot don't. I suppose if you're an airline with a lot of ATRs doing nothing in Dublin, this must look like a more inviting opportunity than for an airline that doesn't?

Was reading this article and obviously Johnathon can’t mention the airlines he’s flabbergasted by but it seems to me he’s saying EasyJet are actually the problem airline of the moment, flooding domestic capacity where it is not needed.

I thought he might be getting at WIzz Air but they have never really launched any flights that compete against Loganair. Whilst I think Ryanair is the one he suggested might be losing control? All speculation ofcourse but was just curious on all your thoughts.

Seems GLA to Donegal has been cut for Summer 2022 according to Seanm1997 on twitter.

They also seem to be pulling out of Jersey.
