TOM certainly seem to be struggling around the country . . .
Left a lot of luggage behind on Monday's Newcastle-Melbourne flight
Aircraft positioned Birmingham-Newcastle-Manchester to collect it on Tuesday - leaving 8 hours late
Air Tanker A330 going on short-term lease to Birmingham
Euro Atlantic B767 operating Bristol-Paphos today with 24 hour delay

We had a 767 come in from Frankfurt to cover a flight on Monday before going back to Frankfurt on Tuesday just before my flight

This is only a small sample of TUI’s delays, several more similar situations have occurred from various bases. Even flights leaving GLA on the correct day have often been significantly delayed. They really don’t seem to be coping well at all and it’s only very early in the season. They are still rather short of aircraft and seem to be having lots of issues with their ACMI leases.

The Westjet flight was cancelled this morning.

Can anyone possibly advise on the reason out of interest?

      Thanks

Privilege Style B757 EC-HDS inbound to pick up the passengers who should have gone to Palma yesterday on the Sunwing flight for Tui, which didn't operate. The aircraft positioned back to Aberdeen this morning, producing a 4-hour delay for the Aberdeen-Reus flight. This all being a reaction to 'JD diverting into NCL on Friday night when operating the return Corfu-ABZ. Methinks lots of EU261 compensation for this.

The 757 is bringing in the Palma-ABZ passengers from last night, to be coached back north.

As a footnote, the 757 was making a double drop outbound, as it had to continue to Malaga with the cruise passengers, to catch up with the ship having missed the Saturday departure from Palma.

Smartwings B737 OK-TVM en route from Brno as TOM12P (this aircraft visited on 18 May f/t Prague for some operational reason with the flights to Seville/Malage/Jerez)
