The 'West' pier is called the international pier as it can handle international arrivals, the other two can't and require bussing the pax across. Where the airport really let themselves down is by parking international arrivals on stands 23-26 but allowing pax to disembark from the rear only onto a bus to drive for 30 seconds to stand 27

So much easier when we just had the two piers. The international one (east) and the domestic one (centre).awwdabaaby wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 10:59 am Loganair Pier, Domestic Pier International Pier

It does need flattened mate but AGS just don't have the cash to do it. Even a lick of paint and some new carpets would do it.Ekally1 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 7:25 pm When I flew TS from yyz , we used the old pier .. was total embarrassing, I wondered what fellow international passengers thought as it was a shitehole . Hardly a welcome into a international airport .. needs bulldozed and rebuilt.. if u build they will come ... hopefully

I'm sure we still have carpet/carpet tiles on the floor in the old east pier.
