All the irons were sent east in a big Jiffy bag by GLA Management some years ago. They sent one back and GLA used it well to entice LH back on the DUS route, as it was pointed out that most using the EDI service (not that this is/was a unique circumstance) have Gr. Glasgow & PA Area Codes, but as they do …. They let the iron go cold & off went LH (via the poor substitute LM Service) back to the airport of Milk n Honey managed by a group of proper, outspoken, and enthusiastic business persons.

Apparently not it seems ...
It's been stood down during the pandemic. So even better to reintroduce it now if incentives are on offer I say. A double drop starting at GLA via DUB with immigration opportunity thrown in. I'll await the usual pouring of cold water...

Lax passenger are not wanting to come to Scotland it to wet and cold for them
Scottish passenger for Lax, I don’t see enough passenger to make it happen either from Edi or GLA

I cant see this happening.
I reckon Loganair could make it work with a twotter. A grand total of 18 fuel stops with a total flight time of 39hrs.

😅😅😅

Maybe we should just stick to the usual discussions like why don't we have more flights by Ryanair to Schittsville ?

If any one decides to try this it will be either Virgin or Tui, my bet would be on Virgin with a 350

Or we could all pull our resource’s and least a aircraft and crew, I think a 321XLR might do

Yes, I'm sure Virgin Delta-UK have already filled in the LAX incentive finance forms and are telling Edinburgh management to dust down a gate already. Either that or it becomes a contunation of an existing routing, ex EDI.
