Interesting that EDI flight arrivals shows a number of the diverted flights as CANCELLED giving the immediate impression that it is the airline's fault!

Heaven forbid the airport operator cant maintain its facilities.

I notice that SAS just flew back to Stockholm without going to EDI.

Eurowings have also had to cancel a return flight from Cologne to Bologna due to the late arrival of the inbound aircraft which presumably has impacted crew hours as well.

As I recall the runway resurfacing is planned for completion January 2026 at a cost of £24 million! Quite a problem for them!

Just a hunch, but, Im sure they will have it sorted before you can say Divert.

Very interesting one today - MRV201 Antonov 32A Arriving for a fuel stop on delivery to Ukranian operator Xena. Ex-Peruvian machine believed to soon be fitted with external water tanks for aerial fire fighting.

FR24 showing a first appearance by A359 10+02 on Monday's GAF training mission, planned in from Billund at 12.34.
