Interesting that EDI flight arrivals shows a number of the diverted flights as CANCELLED giving the immediate impression that it is the airline's fault!

I notice that SAS just flew back to Stockholm without going to EDI.

Eurowings have also had to cancel a return flight from Cologne to Bologna due to the late arrival of the inbound aircraft which presumably has impacted crew hours as well.

As I recall the runway resurfacing is planned for completion January 2026 at a cost of £24 million! Quite a problem for them!

Nice movement during the night was a NASA Gulfstream enroute from Kazakhstan to Houston with Francisco Rubio who had returned from the ISS on the Soyuz spacecraft yesterday. Interestingly this Prestwick regular was passed to Glasgow’s Gama FBO by Prestwick (PIK runway maybe exceeding crosswind limits?).

Would have been great to see that!
