Down at the airport today:

6 A321 between stands 37 and 40
8 A321 area Q stands 81/82
1 A321 outside BA hangar
1 A331 on old short runway

I wonder if the airport is expecting more parked aircraft from BA as clearly there is an engineering resource onsite

Not sure. Might be the airport wanting to get the VOR back in service before the winter in case there's any problems with the ILS.

The documentary that CH5? Did on BA last year showed a female ramp supervisor being trained to do pushbacks using the Mototok. I believe virtually all BA A32X series pushbacks at LHR are now done using them. I wonder if BA sent one up from LHR along with a trained operator to do the moves.

Basically says the GOW DVOR/DME is out of service from 17/09/20 to 30/09/20.

There was one at the end of last month also. Could quite possibly be oil rig or ship crew related charters?

One of the airport's Rosenbauer fire engines on the back of a low loader on the M8 slip road from the airport towards Glasgow about 15:30 yesterday.
