Gets the foot in the door I say, and good for people looking for a weekend away in France, much cheaper than EZY as well.

Suits the inbound market more than easyJet, Transavia much more well known in France than the UK and I believe ORY is the preferred airport for most Parisians.

So 5 weekly may have been somewhat of an illusion, with the Monday and Friday flights being added before they took down the Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday ones.

VY isn't currently bookable for summer from GLA as far as I can see - it appears to be the same for all the other UK routes they started at short notice back in November. Maybe at some complicated manoeuvres with slots at ORY?

I wonder if the recent EU statement on slot usage is being interpreted as a relaxation of use it or lose it slot restrictions. The wording was not to clear straight off the bat but thats what legal departments are for.

Suspect you are correct with that, I also believe that VY is winter seasonal only

All flight removed for the rest of the season, they were meant to resume the 1st week in September but nothing showing for September or October.
