In fairness I checked 1 day, and only decided to look after seeing a discussion on https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtop ... h&start=50 specifically post 91.

Tonight's seat map taken from JetBlue's website is below (it may not be completely accurate, but gives a good indication of loads on a specific flight)

Oh, and before somebody runs over to PpRuNe and tries to take what I said completely out of context the tweet originally referred too had every TATL load factor on it, even those that said 100%

I see a certain user, I know fine well who it was, decided to post the information anyway using his usual childish attitude

"Bumper summer season ahead despite the almost hysterical and paranoid anti EDI contributions you can read on another forum. Some very questionable stats being spewed out and how dare EDI have all the long haul routes."

Guess giving a source, saying it might not be 100% accurate and also praising some routes for being sold out is somehow "anti EDI" 🤔🤔

In the interests of balance, it's worth noting that JFK>EDI seat maps look pretty full for the latter half of next week (and looks to be sold out completely next Friday). However that said, no objective observer would be so rash as to draw a conclusion from one or two days' seat maps (or even attempt to make an argument based on them). Full data will be in the public domain in due course and will allow actual load factors to be calculated, although even that wouldn't tell us how profitable those flights were.

JFK>EDI on 7th June (next Friday) isn't available for booking.on their website. Hopefully their IT folk sort out the glitch so people can book the available seats.

FFS. This thread is now locked. Great work guys. Anyone obsessed by a different airport should apply to the appropriate chat group . This isn’t it. It’s GLA here - the clue is in the name of the forum.
