Was this the first Loganair ATR 72 visit to GLA? Assuming this isn’t a regular thing. These birds do look very smart in that livery I have to say.

First Loganair ATR-72 visit was G-LMRZ, back in December 2019. 'TB visited yesterday to operate a Stornoway round-trip, replacing a sick Embraer. It positioned from/to Aberdeen to operate. Similarly, ATR42 G-LMRB also deputised for an Embraer on an earlier Stornoway. Presently we have ATR42-600 G-LMSA based, 'SB should follow soon, which will then allow Saab retirement.

Wonder why? Planes are still landing at KEF.

The DXB-LHR performed a merry dance all over the south east before heading up to GLA.

Nice. 747s are all too rare these days. Do you know which football team this is flying for and where to and from? I'm flying into GLA tonight so will hopefully see the Queen.
