Interesting Movements 2020
Re: Interesting Movements 2020
I did wonder what the noise was in the suburbs. looked on FR24 and nothing. It sounded like the old days of huge big engines screaming like hell.Couldnt see it due to Scotch Mist

Try https://www.adsbexchange.com/.
I find it very good and it can be filtered to show various types including military. Plus its not just transports - Hawks, Typhoons and even F-35s often show up and can be tracked.

Yeah, Freedar is the same software but available as a phone app too. I use mine with filters set to military only and keep FR24 for all the rest.Clydeflyer wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 5:19 pm Try https://www.adsbexchange.com/.

Nice one. I had never heard of it but I downloaded it tonight and suddenly can see all sorts of military and other aero activity.big ears wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:03 pmI am responsible for uploading the Glasgow and west of scotland data to FreedarAllen McL wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 5:34 pmYeah, Freedar is the same software but available as a phone app too. Re: Interesting Movements 2020
Went straight over my house at relatively low altitude, sounded like a Chinook so I was rather confused when I looked up and saw the rotors pointed the wrong way for what my brain was expecting.

Checked out Freedar today on my phone. Impressive and better than ADSB Exchange graphic wise . Keep up the good work.big ears wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:03 pmI am responsible for uploading the Glasgow and west of scotland data to FreedarAllen McL wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 5:34 pmYeah, Freedar is the same software but available as a phone app too. There’s a fancy looking Loganair ATR-42 currently doing circuits.
