Who knows if this start-up will actually commence commercial operations. An article on alleged plans to operate from Scotland in the future. Given that only Prestwick and Glasgow can currently accept or accommodate 388’s, could this be the realistic hope of GLA securing a new US route in the near future? Highly unlikely to be Prestwick for various reasons.

A vague PR quote "we hope it will not be long before a Global Airlines A380 is back in Scotland" to get the headlines

Not a chance ... can't attract a basic single aisle service to the airport over the pond, so a A380 would be pie in the sky .. and I bet you airline doesn't even get off the ground .
