Jobs galore at AGS

Post by egpffqtv »

Have noticed a number of new roles being advertised by AGS over the past few weeks.

Will post links to each for those interested.

Wonder if this is the start of much needed changes being made by the new owners.

Why AGS though if the sale of the airports has been agreed in March 2025?

Because it's Ferrovial's stake in AGS that's been sold, as is clear from the first line of the press release: https://newsroom.ferrovial.com/en/press ... -airports/

“As part of the agreement, Macquarie (Ferrovial’s joint venture partner in AGS) will also sell its entire stake (50%) in AGS.”

All of AGS has been sold to the new owners.

Thanks for your reply. As per the second line of the press release, Macquarie have also sold their 50% stake in AGS, pretty much making all of AGS sold to Avialliance UK. So, my question remains. Why are there so many new jobs suddenly available at AGS? If you choose to reply, perhaps you could do it in a less pedantic fashion please?

Perhaps they're going to retain the AGS brand in the short term?

Nevertheless, it's interesting they're recruiting people to some of these roles. Surely AVI alliance will have their own ideas about strategy.
